Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command have charged two further youths with the murder of 17-year-old Michael Jonas in Bromley.
A 14-year-old male [D] and a 17-year-old male [E] were due to appear in custody at Bromley magistrates’ court today (Monday, 13 November.)
A 17-year-old male [B] and a 16-year-old male [C] previously appeared at Bromley magistrates’ court last Thursday (9 November) charged with murder.
This follows the arrest of a 16-year-old boy [A] who was arrested on suspicion of murder on Saturday, 4 November and has subsequently been released with no further action.
Police were called at 19:22hrs on Thursday, 2 November to Betts Park, Anerley Road, Anerley to reports of a male having been attacked.
Officers attended and found 17-year-old Michael (pictured), of Penge, with multiple stab wounds.
Officers administered first aid before colleagues from the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance arrived at the scene.
Despite efforts to revive Michael, he was pronounced dead at the scene just after 20:15hrs.
