Am looking forward to seeing you all at our next session on Saturday 16th December. For those of you who missed my previous email, the book we will be discussing is For Whom the Bell Tolls by Ernest Hemingway.

You will all be pleased to hear that Rita will be at this session and we would like to use the Christmas season as an excuse to indulge in eating and drinking, so bring something to eat or drink and we will enjoy the festivities together. Please can you reply to all with what you will be bringing so we don’t get lots of mince pies and no drink or vice versa! Joyce promised to bring her special homemade pavlova which I’m very much looking forward to eating!

So happy reading everyone and see you on 16th December. (Upper Norwood Library Book Club).

From high altitude organic vineyards (1000 m) fermented in wild yeast, a wine that is warming and full-bodied but also smooth with oodles of confit berry fruit and hints of cocoa. You will also be able to taste a luscious sweet wine from Southern France: Muscat de Saint-Jean Minervois Gravillas: ‘Douce Providence’ is as delightful as its name suggests being floral and fruity with whiffs of orange flower and honeysuckle combining with flavours of sweet pink grapefruit and mandarine. The finish has such a refreshing tang. Both wines are biodynamic and YUM!”  Last chance to buy your Christmas wines here.
