Gluten free – Owl Kitchen Mel is cooking up “Carrot cake, chocolate brownies, peanut butter squares, dairy free sugar free beetroot torte, sugar free (xylitol) lemon drizzle cake, luscious lemon and raspberry sandwich, & sausage rolls. Vegan and gluten free – peanut butter squares, banana and courgette cake, chocolate avocado cake, pecan brownies.”
Olive oil – Elia Olive Oil Papa Parnavelas will be on the stall tomorrow with their Greek olive oil.
Ferments – Thirsty House Kombucha Brewed in Streatham by Elizabeth & Shirley.
British flowers – Into the Wild Jenny says “Try something different for valentines … we’ve got British grown tulips, anenomes, narcissus and skimmia in a mix of colours … including red of course fresh from the market today the bouquets will definitely last until Valentine’s Day. So treat yourself or a loved one!”
Preserves – Creative All Sorts Christine says “The flavour of the week is a delicious taste of late summer – Apple Berry Jam. To give you an idea for Shrove Tuesday, I’ll be serving up some on a tiny pancake as a special taster.
I have your back for Valentine’s days as well, with little gifts sets containing two small jars of preserves and a rose scented lip balm. Perfect for mum, nan, auntie…
Finally, I’ve restocked Clementine Marmalade and Veggie Stock Paste. There are also warming chutneys, pickles and relishes to fend off this persistently chilly weather. Tasty times!”
Soaps & bath bombs – Echoes of Velvet Jo says “We are in the grip of Valentine’s Day fever. There are heart shaped soaps and bath bombs, soaps with heart shaped embeds and bath powder containing tiny hidden fizzy hearts – all to help you show somebody some love.”
Smokery – London Smoke & Cure Ross says “It’s sure to be another beautiful sunny day down at the market tomorrow so dig out your flip flops, cast off your brollys and head down to Haynes Lane to welcome in the official start to Summer.
And whilst you’re there and soaking up some vitamin D, come check out your local smokery and sample a beautiful range of high quality handmade produce. On the stall this week we’ve got a few remaining packs of this weeks batch of sashimi smoked salmon and alongside that a good number fresh salon pates. We’ll be cracking open a new and very creamy Colston Bassett Stilton and we’ve still got that amazing Gorwydd Caerphilly that you loved so much last week.
For the meat eaters there’ll be some fresh hot smoked duck and if our courier delivers our smoking wood we’ll put a new batch of Pastrami on tonight which will be in tip top condition.

Cakes – Brett & Bailey Joe says “We’re super-busy this week so here’s the quickest of cake updates – on this week’s stall you’ll find our luscious red velvet with disco maraschino cherries, Rhubarbra Streisand, blueberry and lemon swirl cheesecake, raspberry and pistachio crumbles, chocolate Guinness, double carrot, and peanut butter bars.
We’ll also have an abundance of semlor, cardamom knots, sticky buns, triple chocolate cookies, salted chocolate brownies, and five different delectable preserves, all handmade to original recipes.
