Police are appealing for witnesses following an accident on Anerley Road on Sunday (February 25th).
A Scotland Yard spokesman said: “Police in Bromley were called by London Ambulance Service (LAS) to Anerley Road junction with Anerley Park, SE20 at 0939hrs following reports of a road traffic collision.
“Officers and LAS attended and found a male motorcyclist in collision with a car.
“The male motorcyclist – believed to be in his late twenties – has been taken to hospital. “He remains in hospital with serious injuries.
“No arrests have been made. “The driver of the car involved stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries. “He did not require hospital treatment.”
Anyone who witnessed this collision is asked to call police on 101 quoting CAD2315/25Feb.
AIR AMBULANCE LANDS IN SCHOOL PLAYGROUND
An air ambulance landed in the grounds of Paxton primary school, Jasper Road on Wednesday.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said: “Police were called at 08.47hrs on Wednesday, 28 February to Jasper Road, Gipsy Hill SE19 to a road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian.
“Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service. London Fire Brigade and London’s Air Ambulance were also called.
“The female pedestrian was taken to hospital – her injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life changing.”
CHURCH ROAD CLOSED
Part of Church Road from its junction with Fox Hill to its junction with Westow Street was closed on Monday following an accident.
A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called at 4:29 pm on Monday 26 February to Church Road SE19 to reports of a road traffic collision involving a pedestrian.
“We sent an ambulance crew to the scene. “We treated a man for a head injury and took him to hospital.”
