Officers are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision close to Crystal Palace railway station on Sunday morning.

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service shortly after 08:00hrs to reports of a collision involving a car and cyclist on Anerley Hill at the junction with Crystal Palace Station Road.

Officers and London’s Air Ambulance attended.

The 45-year-old male cyclist was taken to a south London hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

The car stopped at the scene and the driver was spoken to by police who is assisting them with their enquiries”

Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating.

They would like to speak with anyone who saw the collision occur, or who may have dash cam footage.

Detectives are appealing for information after two people were shot in Brixton on Wednesday, 6 June.

Police were called at approximately 23:05hrs to reports of a firearm discharge in Somerleyton Road, Brixton, Lambeth.

Officers and London Ambulance Service attended the scene and found a 34-year-old female with gunshot injuries.

She was taken to a London hospital for treatment; her condition is not life-threatening or life changing.

A 16-year-old male with gunshot injuries subsequently attended a London hospital – his condition is not life-threatening or life changing.

There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
