LAMBETH LIBRARIES IN OCTOBER: WINDRUSH, WORKSHOPS, AND THE REBELLIOUS WOMEN OF WIMBLEDON

Wow what a month in Lambeth Libraries!

This is our second mail-out for October and although we generally only bother you once a month (!), I hope you’ll agree that October is deserving of an extra email. So much happens in October in Lambeth Libraries that it’s hard to keep up – so far we’ve already welcomed authors Malorie Blackman (Noughts and Crosses), Elizabeth Anionwu (Mixed Blessings), Yomi Adegoke and Elizabeth Uviebinené (Slay in Your Lane), Rianna Walcott and Samara Linton (Colour of Madness), we’ve had Musical Theatre, Film, Black History walks, Live Music, political discussion and African traditional storytelling… phew… But we haven’t finished there, we’re barely half way through our programme of events for this month. Do check out our upcoming events and I hope you’ll find something to interest, delight or intrigue. Enjoy!
