Lambeth council are advertising for a Policy and Communications Manager. Their job ad reads as follows:

PO5: Starting salary £44,373 pa rising in annual increments to £47,274 pa incl LW

The engagement and consultation team is here to support the council in delivering on its priority areas, through communicating with residents and businesses, identifying key groups and stakeholders for the council to engage with and feeding back thoughts, concerns and knowledge from communities across the borough.

We gather intelligence from the community, and help develop community projects and support community groups that are making a real difference in our communities.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic consultations manager to join the team. This is your opportunity to bring your excellent strategy, relationship building, analytical, and project management expertise to sit at the heart of our team, delivering the Council’s key policies and strategic projects, while keeping residents involved and engaged along the way.

News From Crystal Palace notes that the ad is headed policy and communications manager but the blurb in the ad says “experienced and enthusiastic consultations manager”…….
