It takes a village. That’s why Crystal Palace needs you to make sure our festival is the best community experience in London. We’re looking for people who can help us organise and run the festival – from stewards to fundraisers to photographers and everything in between. In return you get to make new friends, create happy memories and help your neighbours have a great time.

FROM THE CRYSTAL PALACE FESTIVAL TEAM:
People have been asking ‘Why do a different park event this year?’ and there are a few things we had to consider:
- We want to keep it local so we are focusing on local talent and traders in the park event
- 2017 and 2018 were brilliant events but very very very expensive and we needed to take a break from the larger events this year
- With an event at the top end of Crystal Palace Park we think it will be a great way for you to take in the park event but also to visit our fab pubs and shops for their festival events.
So our park event which takes place on 15 and 16 June is still free & non-ticketed. It also has a capacity of 2,500 so is designed for you to dip in and out of whilst also taking in the sights and sounds of the Crystal Palace Triangle.
There is still an amazing programme of guest events by our fab traders and community groups all week long not to mention the amazing Attic Arts Club!
Finally we bring the high street to life with buskers and entertainers dotted around the area on the weekend of 22 and 23 June!
We can’t wait to see you at the Festival! Love, the Festival team

Metamono, music and silent films at Everyman Cinema
With the help of the National Media Museum, the BFI and the British Council, Metamono, the marvellous analogue trio from Crystal Palace, has developed a show of live music as accompaniment to Secrets of Nature, a series of wonderful and ground-breaking silent films dating from 1903 to 1927.
Flowers open before your eyes, fungus grows from a fly’s footprints, a cuckoo pushes its siblings from the nest, the surface of Stilton cheese becomes akin to a zoo…
Followed by an after party in the beautiful Everyman cinema with DJ sets by King Michaeland Kumo.
