WEATHER FORECAST WINDY – YOU’LL STILL BE BLOWN AWAY BY THE FOOD MARKET!

It’s going to be very windy on Saturday but we will still be trading, albeit will a smaller market than planned, as all the art and clothes stalls won’t be able to come as we can’t have any gazebos up.  BUT we’ll still have meat, fish, bread, veg, fruit, dairy, cheese, smoked things, eco-refills, food-refills and CAKE.  Comfort and Joy will be serving lunch as well.

Lunch & deli – Comfort & Joy Hot tasty wraps, salads and those famous scotch eggs plus takeaways – curries, lasagne and more.  Great picnic food to take away.

Cheese & charcuterie – Capo Caccia Sardinian cheese and charcuterie. Antonio says “This Sat we’ve our popular truffle and nonna salami with the lean, the sweet, the tender filetto. The aged ricotta and the Sardinia king of the cheese, pecorino will be there too. Olive oil, Carasu bread and organic pasta will join the Sardinian gang as well.”

Smokery – London Smoke & Cure Made by Ross & his team in their custom-made smokery in Streatham.

Bread – Levain Bakery  All breads are sourdoughs and are made using their own sourdough starter, a labour of love which they have kept going since they first started the bakery.  Find Kuba on the bread stall in the courtyard.

Bakery & pastries –  Bread Bread   Top notch wood-fired sourdough bread and pastries, made in Brixton.
