“Hello! This Sunday I’ll open a bottle of the lovely red wine Domaine du Salvard, Petit Cheverny Rouge from the Loire Valley in France. On the nose, scents of red cherries, cloves and earth. Fresh and lively on the palate, with flavours of strawberry and liquorice. Great acidity and well-balanced tannins leading to a crisp finish. Cherries all the way! This is a juicy blend of Gamay and Pinot Noir. Domaine Salvard has been in the Delaille family since the 1890’s and the latest generation is expertly converting to organic viticulture. Come taste!”
