SOUTH LONDON RAIDS: 27 CHARGED WITH DRUGS, FIREARM AND HANDLING OFFENCES…

A total of 27 people have been charged with drugs and firearm offences following a series of early morning warrants in south London last week.

A total of 40 simultaneous warrants were executed on Wednesday, 18 September resulting in 28 arrests.

The following have since been charged and were remanded in custody to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates court on Thursday, 19 September:-

[A] was charged with three counts of supplying Class A drugs, namely cocaine.

[B] was charged with three counts of supplying Class A drugs (MDMA), possession of Class B (cannabis), money laundering, possession of proceeds for criminal conduct on 18 September and acquiring/using/possessing criminal property on 18 September.

Both men have since been remanded in custody to appear at Croydon Crown Court on 17 October.

[C] was charged with supplying Class A drugs (cocaine) and five counts of handling stolen goods.

[D] charged with four counts of supplying Class A drugs (cocaine), one count of offering to supply cocaine and one count of selling/transfering a firearm on 21 February.

[E] charged with three counts of supplying Class A drugs, namely cocaine.

[F] charged with four counts of supplying Class A drugs, namely cocaine, and a further two counts of Class A drugs, namely MDMA.

[G] charged with conspiracy to supply a firearm, supplying a Class A drug (cocaine) and supplying a firearm.

[H] was charged with conspiracy to supply a firearm.

C, D, E, F, G and H have been remanded in custody to appear at Kingston Crown Court on 16 October.

[I] charged with six counts of supplying Class A drugs (cocaine) and one count of possession of criminal property (Proceeds of Crime Act).

[J] charged with conspiracy to supply a prohibited weapon (firearm) and conspiracy to supply ammunition.

They have both pleaded guilty and are due to appear in custody at Kingston Crown Court on 16 October.

[K] charged with three counts of supplying Class A drugs (cocaine) and one count of supplying a firearm and ammunition.

[L] charged with one count of conspiracy to supply Class B drugs (cannabis) and two counts of supplying Class A drugs, namely heroin.

[M] charged with conspiracy to supply Class B drugs.

[N] charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs, namely cocaine.

[O] charged with two counts of supplying Class A drugs (cocaine) and one count of conspiracy to supply Class B drugs (cannabis).

[P] charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs, namely cocaine.

[Q] charged with conspiracy to supply Class B drugs, two counts of supplying a Class A drug (heroin), one count of supplying a Class A drugs (MDMA), two counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs (ecstasy), one count of supplying a Class B drugs (cannabis), two counts of handling stolen goods and one count of concealing/disguising/transferring criminal property.

[R] charged with four counts of handling stolen goods, one count of being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug (cannabis), five counts of concealing/disguising/transfering criminal property, one count of selling/transferring a prohibited weapon/ammunition, one count of forging a registration mark/registration document and one count of making/supplying an article for use in fraud (Fraud Act 2006).

[S] charged with two counts of handling stolen goods, one count of driving whilst disqualified and one count of no insurance.

[T] charged with supplying a firearm on 9 September.

K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S and T have been remanded in custody to appear at Kingston Crown Court on 16 October.

[U] A 17-year-old boy from the Wandsworth area was charged with two counts of handling stolen goods, one count of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs (heroin), and one count of concealing/disguising/transferring criminal property.

He has been bailed to attend Kingston Crown Court on 16 October.

[V] charged with conspiracy to supply a firearm on 11 June.

She has been bailed to appear at Kingston Crown Court on 16 October.

[W] A 16-year-old from Wandsworth was charged with manufacturing/selling a firearm. He has been bailed to appear at Kingston Crown Court on 16 October.

[X] charged with supplying Class B drugs, namely cannabis.

He has since pleaded not guilty and has been remanded to appear in custody at Kingston Crown Court on 16 October.

[Y] charged with supplying Class B drugs, namely cannabis. She has been bailed to appear at Wimbledon magistrates court on 3 October.

[Z] charged with three counts of supplying Class A drugs, namely cocaine. He appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates on 21 September and has been remanded in custody to appear at Kingston Crown Court on 16 October.

[A1] A 17-year-old boy from the Hounslow area was charged on 21 September with three counts of supplying class A drugs (heroin), He appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates and has since been remanded to appear at Kingston Crown Court on 16 October. (Source: Met Police press release)
